Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) are found throughout the NHS carrying out a variety of crucial health care roles.

AHP is the collective term for highly qualified staff including podiatrists, dietitians, occupational therapists, paramedics, physiotherapists, radiographers and speech and language therapists.
On this page you’ll find more information about different AHP roles – also including Operating Department Practitioners, Orthoptists, Osteopaths, Prosthetists and Orthotists – and Healthcare Science roles such as biomedical and physiological scientists.
We often have vacancies in these fields and we welcome qualified professionals and those looking to start a career in health.
Allied Health Professionals play an essential role in delivering health care and we want to encourage more people to explore career options in different fields.
