If you have not been seen in the James Paget University Hospital Audiology department before and are having difficulty hearing, please speak to your GP.
Your GP can decide the best department to refer you to based on your symptoms.
If you are referred to the Audiology department you will be sent an appointment to have a hearing assessment. You will also be able to discuss further treatment including NHS hearing aids.
If you have a NHS hearing aid from any other NHS provider you will need a new referral from your GP to be seen at the James Paget.
If you already have a hearing aid from the James Paget, some useful information about our services can be found here on our webpages. Alternatively you can contact us directly - please see the contact information on our main Audiology page.
